As I look back on my four decades in the fitness industry, it has become clear that people are afraid to work out for many reasons. They have…

  • Bought into the myth that age comes with injury.
  • Become intimidated by the intense, hardcore workouts.
  • Decided working out is too hard.
  • Associated exercise with pain, discomfort, or misery.
  • Lost faith in the industry and given up on ever getting back into shape

Though I didn’t realize it in the beginning, what I’ve ended up doing is creating a system for people who don’t like working out.

It started when I was young. As a teen and a dancer, I got hurt my fair share of times. Mostly sprained ankles and lower back pain. And in the 80’s, I started teaching high-impact aerobics classes.

During all of that, I discovered that those high-impact workouts were slowly creating long-lasting damage. So, I decided to remove the impact and cause of this pain.

I had no idea this small change would increase my following 10-fold! I continued to use science-backed research to change the way I taught crunches and other typical exercises. Little did I know I was creating a revolution in the fitness industry.

That’s how RightWay Wellness was formed.

Here’s the thing, as a Mom, I stayed consistent with my personal exercise routines and teaching schedule. It helped with my recovery from pregnancies and maintaining a healthy body. Consistency is huge at every stage of your life. It was for me as I started teaching fitness when I was 16, through raising 4 kids, and still to this very today. I was determined to stay consistent but more importantly, to be injury-free to keep up with my children.

Is it okay to get real here? I can’t emphasize enough how important it is for your body to be happy as you age. I really want this for you. It is why I started this Revolution. And yes, I want you to join because some of my clients have been with me since I was pregnant with my kids 30 years ago. They are in their 70s now, happy and active. They have not experienced the typical “aging” aches and pains their peers do. This is why I know my methods work and will work for you!

What I do is teach science-backed rules of movement for your daily life. We apply them in the workouts, but I encourage you to follow them in your day-to-day existence. Posture, movement, stretching…there is a right way to do these things. And if you do it the RightWay, you get all the benefits with none of the consequences!
